SSE Education Symposium: Communicating
Science (Saturday, 26 June 8:30 AM - Noon)
Scientists have a lot to learn about how to communicate their research
to policy makers, the press and the public. For this year’s education
symposium, we have asked the American Association for the Advancement
of Science (AAAS) to put on the useful workshop that they have
developed to help scientists become more effective communicators. The
symposium portion of the workshop is open to all without
pre-registration. The symposium will be followed by a Communicating Science Practicum
on Friday afternoon (requires pre-registration).Organizer: Robert Pennock
